I opened my Etsy shop in December of 2016 and it has been such a wonderful experience and I am so grateful to all of you who have purchased from me in the past – as well as those who will in the future! You keep me going! You help me to believe in what I do! I love your kind words and encouragement too. Thank you so very much!!
Here are some things I want you to know because you are special to me:
• I make every print on demand. That means when you order a print I make one for you.
• I do not out-source my prints because I want to see each and every print to make sure they look just right. It is important that I can send a personal note to each of you when you order. And I love using my own packaging so you know how special your order means to me.
These things, as much as I love to do them, take time and money. But it is totally worth it to me so that I can give you the attention that I think my art–and you–deserve!
So if you have been eyeing some prints or postcards in the shop I would use this time to snag them while on sale because as of November 15 regular prices will go up and some older items will no longer be available.
Inktober fun!
If you have been following me on Instagram or my Facebook page you may have seen some of my Inktober work. I have been thoroughly enjoying each and every prompt and have created some drawings I may never have done if it weren’t for this challenge! As I write this post I have three more prompts to go but I will get them all finished even if it does take me into a bit of November!
Drawing every day–or almost every day–has been so very good for my creative-mind-to-hand-communication! Does that make sense? What I mean is that it has become much easier for me to grab my sketchbook and draw something fun because I have so many ideas flitting around in my head now that I am drawing more often. And the ideas in my head are much clearer and easier to get on paper again, since I am drawing more often. Now does that make sense? I hope so!
In any case it has been a blast and I hope to continue my new habit.
