My new Skillshare class is live! Choosing the Right Marker or Ink Pen for Your Illustrations is my first class and I am excited to share it with you! This was my first time filming and editing so please bear with me as I felt a little awkward being in front of the camera. But, it can only get easier from here, right?
If markers and inking pens are something you already have on hand but aren’t that familiar with or, you are interested in using them but don’t know where to begin, then this class is for you. Perhaps you are a seasoned artist but haven’t used markers or inking pens before. I am sure you will find some helpful information in this class!
Choosing the Right Marker or Ink Pen for Your Illustrations is about forty minutes long and is broken down into bite-sized lessons–for those of us who are short on attention or forever multi-tasking! Woop! (Read on for how to get TWO FREE months of Skillshare!)
Skillshare is an online classroom offering 1000’s of classes ranging from business and technology to fashion and art! It has something for every level. This class was incredibly helpful to learn how to edit in iMovie. And they do have an app to watch classes on your iPad, phone, and Apple TV too! I am currently learning how to use Procreate: I watch the class on my Apple TV while using Procreate on my iPad. This is very convenient plus I am quite enjoying this digital art thing!
Moongirl Art on YouTube!
Moongirl Art YouTube channel is live! Some views, comments, and subscribing :), to get the ball rolling would be greatly appreciated if you are so inclined. *insert many hearts* I am not sure what my next video will be but if you have any ideas let me know! Perhaps a sketchbook tour or just a ‘watch-as-I-paint-this-piece’ video will be a good way to get my hands wet. Let me know what you would like to see!
This makes me a bit nervous adding something else to my plate as it is a challenge juggling art and homeschooling but I really want to give this a try.
Off topic now, but I can smell that the bread baking in the oven (that my boys made!) is almost ready so I’m off to pop that sweet loaf out and get on to the rest of the day!
