I am joining Ginny for another Yarn Along on this fine Wednesday. I am still reading After Alice and knitting the same project as in my previous post (and the one before that!). It’s been a slow reading and knitting few weeks for me! I’ve had a little one with a cold this past week so sleep has been a bit of a stranger to us both and when I am tired I don’t read as much as glaze over the page. BUT, this book just came in for me at the library and I’m keen! I’ve always got too much on the go. I have managed to dial down the ‘crazy’ a bit but I know my days could still do with a little less. Fingers crossed this baby gives me some more insight into a smooooother day! 🙂
Off to do lessons with my sweet boys and then I shall find some time to see what other yarners are up to!
Happy creating!

I love the idea of burning the todo list! ‘Still Alice’ is on my pile to read, I have just finished ‘Elizabeth is Missing’ which I think is similar and I really enjoyed
I haven’t heard of Elizabeth Missing. It’s going on my Good Reads list! 😉
I love that book! I just started reading it, and only manage a chapter here and there because there is so much to think about and pray about after reading, but I’m already noticing how much of a positive change it has been making in my life!Sending prayers for health and peace your way today, momma!
Thank you, Jessica! And thank you for your input on the book – something to keep in mind: take it slow, absorb, reflect. 🙂
I have been wanting to read this book for a while but gosh darn it my book list is long and other books keep jumping the line! 😉
I know what you mean! My pile is a bit overwhelming. 😉
I am excited to see what you think of this one.
Aw, hope the little one feels better soon and you can get some rest!
I hope you all feel better, I’m fighting a sinus infection (with the help of medicines). Lovely book.
Yep, sometimes you have to take some meds fight the bad stuff. Hope you are well soon. ❤
burning the todo-list ….. Now that’s an idea 🙂
for a second i thought you were saying you were going to have a baby, then i realized you were calling the book a baby. i read an article about how to organize life/house, i really like the idea: does this bring me joy?
Oh goodness, another baby? Ha! 🙂 I love the idea of asking each item you hold if it brings you joy. It’s very effective. I have learned this from The Life Changing Magic of Tidying up and it’s the best.
