It’s been a long while since I have painted any rocks. We have so many rocks lingering around and inside our home – we can’t seem to go barely anywhere without bringing some home – that I often think about it and finally go around to painting another. I painted a word on both sides and then crocheted a pouch for it, because I could. Yep. I’m that good! heheh 😉
This past month has been a nasty one for our household. Stephen and I don’t really get sick and the boys usually get one cold a year. Well, they got their colds which luckily weren’t too bad and then I got the flu twice in two weeks! I cannot recall the last time any of us had a flu but I stocked my body up on some natural goodness and kicked it’s but easy and fast. The last bout just ended and now my husband has a nasty stomach flu. Ugh! It’s awful. I’ve been one step ahead with fire cider and elderberries on hand but I find it’s also easy to make what my boys call an ember cider. An ember is not quite a fire, right? Get it? Thank the gods for food as medicine! ❤
I’ve been bad with my yoga and meditation and getting sick was one way of telling my body what I needed. I’m back on the wagon, Baby, and it feels good.
Stop drop and yoga! – and in my new (second hand) stretchy slim jeans! Oh my how comfy in a way I never knew. I just needed to find the right ones.
This bookstore is our second home by the way. 😉It’s been a mild winter with barely any snow and when we did get dumped on it melted in days. Snow or not the moss is always green. I love that. And Queen Anne’s Lace is beautiful to me any time of the year.
I’ve been making an art journal through one of the courses from Jeanne Oliver Creative Network by Danielle Donaldson (all links in sidebar if you are curious as the courses are awesome!). Not too long ago Jeanne posted a video where she goes into how she paints with gesso. Her work is amazing and I’d never heard of this technique so I gave it a try. It was fun. It needs work. But it was fun!
I got me some Inkentse Blocks! But only a few. Haha! I love the Inkense pencils and these blocks were on special for a crazy price so I just couldn’t say ‘no’. Believe it or not I’ve been good at saying ‘no’ to purchasing more art supplies these past months. Really. Pinky swear it…but my birthday is coming up…
Mmmm… love her. Is it okay for me to love her? She just came out of the paper as I drew one night. I feel a deep connection here.
Today was the day that I finally created a Facebook Page for my artwork so you can find me there too! Yay! It’s Moongirl Art. Come by and visit and like and share! 🙂
Happy creating!
Moongirl ❤ ❤
All such goodness, Tam!
It is totally awesome to love her. I did as soon as I saw her.
You are doing amazing things! xoxoxo
…and I am blessed to have such good friends who reach for the stars and shake a little stardust onto me. ❤
Glad you’re feeling better! And I love her too! ♥♥♥♥
Thank you, Robin!! 🙂 ❤
