I finished my cowl knit from the last yarn along and I have to say it’s very cozy! I also finished reading Gathering Moss and absolutely loved it, so much so that I wrote a review of it here.
This week I began the book The Night Has Teeth. Yep, that’s right. I went from a book on moss to one on werewolves. I like to keep life interesting! My husband is a writer and recently met Kat Kruger, a local author and she won the Atlantic Writing Competition with this book. Support local! Right? Indeed, and I am enjoying the supporting. 🙂
On the needles today are a couple things. I am making another set of yoga socks. Love these things. It’s like walking barefoot in a cool house while wearing socks at the same time. Plus they are great for yoga, grippy for the toes and heels yet snuggly. Love them. I used my first set this morning for my summer yoga practice (a little sore from our family run yesterday morning and yoga felt so good on those muscles!)
I am also crocheting a shawl which I found on pinterest. Love that place. Here is the link to Creative Yarn‘s version which I much prefer and the pattern here. It is so lovely. 🙂 I tend to flip between knit and crochet. I love both, I just cannot choose one!

Happy creating!

Oh! The cowl looks amazing. I was going to ask you what you were knitting when you were here but we got so caught up in talking 😉
Loving that yarn for your new yoga socks!
I am too. Love the rich colours!
Love your cowl. Yoga socks, how have I not heard about these?
They are the awesomest. 😉 If you search you can find a pattern. I used Pattons sock yarn and their pattern too.
