I just could not settle on a name for my latest painting. I love Alice. She’s was favourite childhood character and has remained so to this very day. Well, Wonder Woman has always kicked butt too. Maybe I will do a WW painting next…

I was excited to enter this piece into an art auction this past weekend on Facebook! I just recently created a Facebook page for my art to help with familiarizing people who are on Facebook but not ‘friends’ of mine with my work. I had been holding out because I felt a blog and Instagram account were enough for me but now I’ve taken the plunge. This painting is on a 12″x12″ stretched canvas. I used acrylic paint, my beloved Stabilo All Pencil, a mechanical pencil and a bit of Micron too. It took me a few days to complete as I dealt with a flu that was something of which I hadn’t felt in years. Ugh! But she be done and soon on her way to her new owner – yay!!!
