I was planning on making another drawing or painting the one from the previous post for sharing today. But when a friend came over and we chatted and knitted while the kids played I realized how close I was to finishing my FIRST EVER pair of hand-knitted socks. Getting the cast-on right so that the second sock had the exact same stripe pattern of the first was a challenge (and attempted multiple times) but so worth it. I am very proud of my first pair, so comfy they are (!), that I wanted to share.
