This weekend past was one that I will not easily forget. I was very fortunate to spend a few days with some amazing women at a cottage here in Nova Scotia. We each brought food and drink to share and bags full of ‘things’ to do. We also smudged every room to make it new, to remove any energy from visitors past, thoughts stagnant.

It was so wonderful to sit and just relax with no schedule. I felt so blessed to be spending quality time with such amazing women, each and every one of them. We sewed, we knit, we drew, we ate, we drank, we laughed our asses off. We gathered together and shared our thoughts, desires, fears, hopes, struggles, our good times and our bad times. We connected in so many ways that the air itself was filled with a loving energy that soothed and inspired.

I knew I couldn’t go without creating something with the watercolours I brought.

This is my White Point Lady. She transformed into something I had not planned. Sometimes that is the best part of life. Those transformations that simply happen. And we feel so blessed for them.

white-point-ladyThank you, Ladies. It was a powerful weekend. Love you all!

Happy Creating!

Your blog – and your exquisite art as well – is so inspiring. And you take epic photos! My camera would have a coronary if it was faced with that level of gorgeousness 🙂
