I’ve been stealing some time to both knit and create and I just love that! I am making a book from one of Danielle Donaldson’s courses, Storybooks and Studious Girls, over on Jeanne Oliver network (link in sidebar). I have made a few books before this one and it has been great fun getting back into it! I love her courses!
I had to share this Time Burton playing deck that I bought online. I am a bit of a Tim Burton fan and have dressed up as Sally a couple of times for Halloween. The boys love this deck too and we have already given the Jack another name: Jombie, you know for ‘jack’ and ‘zombie’ put together? Teehee.
This wise one was contentedly sitting on the fence (how I feel somedays) when I passed by in the parking lot at the book store. He was beautiful and I just couldn’t help but stand near him for a bit and feel his mystical energy. Just lovely.
I am still knitting the same as last week and have begun this lovely book by the author of Wicked. It’s quite cute and written in the same style as Alice in Wonderland which is hands-down one of my favourite stories. And yes, I’ve been Alice for Halloween at least a few times! 😉

Following along with Ginny for her weekly Yarn Along. I love seeing what all the lovely knitters are up to. It keeps me clicking away!
Happy creating!

hello,
I also like Danielle’s classes and am looking forward to the next one. Wishing you a grand time with that book.
Lovely that you got to hang with the sunning bird.
I am excited because I just bought a travel set of watercolours as well. I am stoked about taking my book with me and painting in it – once it is finished, of course. 😉
Can’t wait to see your book! 🙂
Thank you, Robin! I have been slowly plugging away at it and am having a grand time!
