In the style of drawing for the last post I continue on with the second part of the first part of the assignment. Yes, that’s right. There were two different drawing projects for the first part. Here is the second. I really enjoyed making these little critters on tracing paper and just scribbling and smudging the graphite around. I made myself spend only a short time on each drawing, maybe twenty minutes at most, which was a challenge but I did it.
How freeing indeed!
I learned from the last group of drawings (art school flashback here) to put a tissue or paper over previous drawings or parts of so as not to smudge. This would have been an awful mess with all that graphite!
I LOVE my mechanical pencil for drawing like I never thought I would! You can get soft lines and sharp ones too plus great for dark scribbles – so not what I learned at art school! Shhhhh….. 😉
